Develop low-cost, sustainable medical technologies while providing students with engineering design experience and professional development.

Our team is made up of undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Washington in Seattle. Our organization is open to any UW students who are passionate about utilizing their skills and resources to improve the well-being of those in need through bioengineering solutions. Bioengineering and pre-bioengineering students make up a majority of our members, but we welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

We aim to develop an accessible, non-invasive tool for vaginal health monitoring.

NUCLEIC ACID EXTRACTION

Our project goal is to automate a cost-effective alternative for nucleic acid extraction for early identification and treatment of disease.

HYDROSONIX

Our project goal is to develop a low-cost and non-invasive ultrasound-based device to quantitatively differentiate levels of dehydration.

LegUp PROSTHETICS

We aim to translate adjustable socket technology to developing countries and low-income regions around the globe.

SPARCS Tracker

We aim to develop a portable device that captures time-synchronized 12-lead ECG and digital auscultation data simultaneously.​
